Follow the guide for the tool you use. You'll sign in to Basin as you connect, or create an account if you're new.
Using a work account? Your organization may need to enable the connection. Your tool's guide explains what to check.
You can connect unlimited assistants. Connect each of your own tools to the same Basin account.
Give your assistant a reminder.
Add this to your tool's saved instructions so new conversations know to check Basin:
Your tool's guide shows where it goes. This is a reminder; some tools also require you to select or enable Basin in the conversation.
Save a project you're already working on.
Open a conversation with Basin enabled. Use a project already in the chat, or give your assistant a brief to work from.
A space holds the files and instructions for a project. You can choose an existing space or create one when prompted.
Look for: a saved file with the project details you supplied. The work needs to be written to Basin to be available in another conversation.
Pick it up in a new conversation.
Start a fresh conversation with Basin enabled. You can use the same tool, or connect another assistant to the same Basin account.
Look for: an answer drawn from the file you saved, without pasting the brief again.
Joining someone's project? Accept their invitation, then connect using the same Basin account.
