Connect Basin to Antigravity
Basin is a connector that lets your AI assistants and other people's assistants work from one shared library, across different tools and different companies. Setting it up in Antigravity takes a few minutes.

Add Basin to the configuration
Open Antigravity's MCP configuration and add Basin. Globally that file is ~/.gemini/config/mcp_config.json; for one workspace it is .agents/mcp_config.json.

{
"mcpServers": {
"basin": { "serverUrl": "https://mcp.getbasin.co/mcp" }
}
}The key is serverUrl. Antigravity does not support the older url or httpUrl fields, and a server declared with one of those will not load.
Authenticate in Agent Settings
Reload the agent so it reads the new server. Open Agent Settings — Cmd+, on a Mac, Ctrl+, elsewhere — go to the Customizations tab, and select Authenticate beside Basin. Finish the sign-in in the browser and paste the code back into the settings panel.
Ajoutez l’instruction permanente
Add one line to your agent instructions, so a new session checks Basin rather than starting from nothing.
Consulte Basin au début de chaque conversation.
Without it the assistant may not think to look. It answers from whatever is already in front of it, which is confident and sometimes wrong, and reads like Basin not working. Basin is a live connector, not a file in the workspace. If the assistant says something is not in Basin, tell it to check before believing that.
Vérifiez la connexion
Une réponse de Basin confirme la connexion. Si votre bibliothèque est vide, c’est normal — l’étape suivante consiste à enregistrer un projet.
If it did not work
Mettez-le à l’œuvre.
Enregistrez le brief d’un vrai projet, puis ouvrez une nouvelle conversation et demandez à votre assistant de le retrouver.
